Enamel was born on August 23. 1995 in Ibadan, Oyo State in Nigeria. He was born to a family of 5 boys and is the last born of the family.
Growing up in a strict family where his mother was the headmistress of a school and his father a civil servant at the Water Corporation of Oyo State, Enamel would often get in trouble for having a “book of lyrics” where he wrote verses to songs he aspired to record. It was in this period that he developed his love for music and knew he wanted to become a recording artist in the Afro-Pop scene.
Enamel is currently signed to More Coke Everyday Entertainment and has released his debut single, “Pokish” that is produced by Kiddominant and features Galaybanton. The upbeat song is coupled with a striking video that was released in conjunction with the single. “Pokish” is slang for something beautiful or desirable. Followed by his next release titled Gang, Enamel decides to release Gang on the 14th of February 2020 as his own Valentine gift to everyone and appreciate everybody out there.
With the firm belief that music is a weapon that can be used to influence change, Enamel prides himself with the goal to do good. Enamel is currently recording his upcoming EP with Kel P, popularly known as the head producer of Burna Boy’s African Giant album and his distinguishable, “It’s Kel P Vibes” tag at the beginning of his produced tracks. The EP is supported by songs from Richie and South Africa producer Mac 11.
