Nigeria’s president Buhari will begin a rest break tomorrow June 6th to treat persistent health problems. The rest break will mean Buhari will not be capable of leading the country for a period of 10 days, presidency confirms.
In a statement released on Sunday night, “President Buhari will take 10 days off and travel to London from Monday June 6th, to rest. During the holiday, the President will see an Ear, Nose and Throat specialist for a persistent ear infection. The President was examined by his Personal Physician and an E.N.T Specialist in Abuja and was treated. Both Nigerian doctors recommended further evaluation purely as a precaution.”
We wish the president quick recovery.
